IT group picks PhRMA global affairs veteran as new CEO

SIA expects to relocate its trade association’s headquarters to Washington, D.C., by September as Brian Toohey comes on board.Brian Toohey, senior vice president of international affairs at the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, will be the new CEO of the Semiconductor Industry Association as of July 19, the SIA has announced. Toohey, 42, replaces George Scalise, who said last November he would retire at the end of 2010.
